A notary is a person of proven integrity appointed by the state to act as an impartial witness. A notary may not give legal advice. A notary may not recommend nor provide a particular form or document to address or remedy a legal situation. A notary may not explain a legal document. A notary verifies the signer's identification, questions if the signer understands the document, and witnesses the signing of said document.
Two areas that are often a concern are current identification and the ability to write his/her signature. Please consult an attorney for direction in these matters.
I have been a State of Oregon commissioned notary public since 2000. I carry $25k of Errors and Ommissions insurance, I am certified and a member of the National Notary Association. I passed a background check in January 2010.
I offer guaranteed service. If I improperly notarize a document, I will return to make necessary corrections at no additional charge.

I am experienced, prompt, reliable, courteous, mobile and available for first, second and reverse residential mortgage and HELOC (home equity line of credit) documents, wills, powers of attorney, quit claim deeds and property releases.
